This project is located in the southern region of China, where the climate is hot and rainy all year round. The summer is particularly humid and long, with high air humidity and a feeling of stuffiness. The entrance and exit hall of high-speed railway stations, as an important node for passengers to enter and exit the station, has the characteristics of dense personnel and high mobility. It is not only a window for displaying the city's image, but also one of the most direct areas for passengers to experience. China's high-speed rail network covers a wide range, and high-speed rail stations often adopt the design concept of large-span and high transparency to create a spacious and bright sense of space, highlighting the grandeur of modern transportation hubs. However, while providing a good visual experience, such spaces also place higher demands on environmental comfort.
The entrance and exit hall is a large-span steel structure shed style building with a total area of over 20000 square meters, and the overall space is transparent and open. Due to structural reasons, direct sunlight in summer leads to internal heat accumulation, coupled with dense personnel and poor air circulation, which easily creates a hot and humid environment, affecting the waiting experience of passengers. Therefore, it is urgent to implement effective ventilation and cooling improvement measures without damaging the original building structure and aesthetics.
The design team of Ruifeng Plan comprehensively considered the humid and hot climate characteristics of the project location, the large and transparent space properties, and the actual situation that traditional precision temperature control equipment (such as central air conditioning) cannot be installed in the area. Finally, permanent magnet industrial ceiling fans were selected as the core ventilation and cooling solution. Relying on the direct drive technology of permanent magnet synchronous motor, this equipment has significant advantages such as high efficiency, energy saving, maintenance free, wide coverage, and low operating noise. The design team scientifically calculates and reasonably arranges the coverage radius of different models of ceiling fans to achieve maximum effective coverage with the minimum quantity, avoiding resource waste caused by excessive installation and ensuring the uniformity and comfort of the overall space's wind field. This layout fully utilizes the characteristics of permanent magnet industrial ceiling fans, such as large single machine coverage, low energy consumption, and stable operation, truly achieving "small investment, large improvement".
The operating principle of the permanent magnet industrial ceiling fan is based on biomimetic fluid dynamics and aerodynamic design. By slowly rotating the large-diameter wing shaped fan blades, a three-dimensional natural wind field is formed from top to bottom, promoting large-scale air flow and simulating the effect of natural breeze. Unlike high-speed small fans, it does not aim for direct cooling, but rather enhances surface evaporation and heat dissipation by promoting airflow circulation throughout the space, thereby significantly improving human comfort without relying on air conditioning. After the equipment was put into use, the overall ventilation conditions in the entrance and exit halls of the high-speed railway station were fundamentally improved, and the stuffiness and heat were significantly alleviated.
