Zhejiang XX Manufacturing Enterprise Production Workshop Cold Air Fan+Negative Pressure Fan Ventilation and Cooling Project

1、 Project Background and Challenges

This project is located in Zhejiang Province. Zhejiang is located along the coast of East China and has a subtropical monsoon climate. The high temperatures in summer last for a long time, and the humidity is high. The hot and humid weather is a great challenge for employees on the production line. This enterprise is a large manufacturing enterprise with a production workshop area of nearly 5000 square meters and a floor height of 12 meters. It is a typical color steel structure factory building. Although there are no large heating equipment in the workshop, the production workstations are dense and there are many workers. In summer, due to the heat absorption of color steel tiles and the body's own heat dissipation, the workshop is prone to creating a hot and humid environment with poor air circulation, which not only seriously affects the comfort and efficiency of workers, but also may become a hidden danger to safety production. Therefore, improving the working environment in the workshop and providing employees with cool and fresh workspaces has become an urgent problem that enterprises need to solve.

2、 Ruifeng customized solution

In response to the particularity of this project, the Ruifeng design team has conducted a comprehensive consideration from all aspects. Firstly, starting from geographical factors, fully consider the climate characteristics of high temperature and humidity in Zhejiang region during summer; Secondly, in-depth analysis of the workshop structure reveals that the nearly 5000 square meters of large-span, 12 meter floor height, and color steel material determine the huge energy consumption of traditional air conditioning solutions; Once again, from the perspective of enterprise costs, it is necessary to not only control the initial equipment investment, but also calculate the long-term "energy-saving account".

At the beginning of the project, the company considered installing traditional industrial air conditioning. However, after on-site investigation and data analysis, Ruifeng professionals pointed out that in such a large space and high ceiling structure, traditional air conditioners need to achieve ideal cooling effects. Not only is the equipment procurement cost high, but the later electricity and maintenance costs are also an unbearable continuous expense, with extremely low cost-effectiveness.

For this reason, we recommend a combined ventilation and cooling solution of "air cooler+negative pressure fan" to our customers. The core concept of this plan is to utilize the principles of fluid mechanics to form a three-dimensional air circulation system of "forced intake+strong exhaust". The air cooler is installed on one side of the workshop, using the principle of water evaporation to absorb heat. After filtering and cooling the fresh air outside, it continuously delivers a large amount of cold and fresh air to the workshop; At the same time, the negative pressure fan is installed on the other side of the workshop, with strong exhaust capacity to quickly force the hot air, turbid air, and odors indoors out of the room. The two are arranged in a row, forming an invisible "air convection wall" in the workshop, which generates 3-5 air changes per hour in the entire space, quickly establishing a fresh environment with slight positive or negative pressure. Compared to traditional air conditioning, this combination solution reduces investment costs by about 50% and operates at only about 1/8 of the energy consumption of air conditioning, truly achieving "cost reduction and efficiency improvement" and providing enterprises with the best cost-effective choice.

3、 Excellent performance and customer experience

After the equipment was put into use, there was an immediate improvement in the workshop environment. Thanks to the continuous supply of moist fresh air by the air cooler and the efficient exhaust of the negative pressure fan, an efficient airflow organization is formed inside the workshop. The air starts from the outlet of the air cooler and moves at a constant speed like an invisible "wind wall", effectively diluting and dispersing the turbid air and human body heat gathered near the workstation. Actual tests have shown that the average temperature in the workshop can be reduced by 4-8 ℃, and the air flow velocity is maintained between 0.5-1.5 meters per second, which is the most comfortable for human perception. The perceived temperature drop is particularly significant. Employees generally reported that the stuffiness and dizziness that used to occur during summer work have completely disappeared, and the working environment has become cool and transparent, with a relaxed mood and a significant improvement in production efficiency.

4、 Scene extension and ability manifestation
