Project Background and Challenges

There is a modern and large-scale agricultural park located just a stone's throw away from the capital of a South Asian country. This planting greenhouse covering hundreds of hectares is a model for the country to utilize urban dividends to develop high value-added agriculture. Relying on the stable power supply and well-developed cold chain logistics infrastructure in the capital, the park mainly cultivates economic crops specifically for high-end supermarkets and star rated hotels, covering various categories:

1. High grade flowers: delicate orchids, beautiful roses, elegant and fresh lilies and tulips;

2. High value vegetables: crispy lettuce, nutritious broccoli, cabbage, and parsley commonly used as a seasoning in Western cuisine;

3. Featured fruits: Fragrant strawberries, anthocyanins rich blueberries, raspberries, and crystal clear grapes.

However, the project encountered a "roadblock" - climate. Most of the South Asian region belongs to the tropical monsoon climate, with distinct seasons of high temperature and dry rain throughout the year, and high and humid air. The above-mentioned economic crops, whether delicate flowers or high-yielding fruits and vegetables, are mostly native to temperate regions or require cool growing environments. They are generally not resistant to sustained high temperatures and require extremely high precision in the temperature and humidity of their growth environment. Once the temperature is too high, flowers will stop growing or even burn their petals, and fruits and vegetables will experience a decline in quality and frequent diseases. Therefore, precise artificial climate intervention must be implemented in fully enclosed or semi enclosed greenhouses to ensure the quality and yield of crops.

1. Customized design: In response to the unique power grid environment of the country, we have re matched and customized the core component of the air cooler - the motor, to ensure that it can still operate stably, efficiently, and safely under non-standard voltage/frequency, completely avoiding equipment loss or shutdown risks caused by voltage mismatch.

2. Targeted selection: Based on the planting density, spatial height, and local climate characteristics of the greenhouse, we optimized the air volume and pressure of the fan to ensure that the cold air can evenly cover each crop, forming a comfortable "microclimate" that effectively cools down and avoids diseases caused by high humidity environments.
