In recent years, with China's continuous investment and high attention to the construction of the "vegetable basket" project, animal husbandry, as a cornerstone industry to ensure high-quality protein supply for the people and stabilize livelihood consumption, is rapidly developing towards scale and intensification. In this process, how to create a healthy and comfortable growth environment for various livestock and poultry has become a core issue facing many farm owners. Our company (Ruifeng Environmental Protection Refrigeration) has successfully tailored a combined ventilation and cooling system of "negative pressure fan+water curtain wall+fan" for multiple small and medium-sized livestock farms in China, based on our deep experience in ventilation and cooling. In response to this market pain point, the solution design team of Ruifeng Company conducted an in-depth analysis of the complex application scenarios in breeding farms. We have fully considered the variability of the external environment of the breeding farm, the open structural characteristics of the internal space, and the high sensitivity of livestock and poultry to air quality. In the end, we abandoned the limitations of traditional single device cooling and innovatively adopted a multi device combination layout of "permanent magnet negative pressure fan+water curtain wall+industrial fan". The core logic of this design is to leverage the collaborative advantages of various devices and achieve a ventilation and cooling effect of "1+1+1>3":
1. Negative pressure fan: As the "power heart" of the system, it is installed on the wall on one side of the breeding farm. It adopts an efficient permanent magnet motor, which not only saves electricity and energy, but also generates strong exhaust capacity. When working, the fan quickly exhausts the indoor air that is hot, turbid, and filled with harmful substances such as ammonia, creating a negative pressure state in the room instantly.
2. Water curtain wall: As the "cooling core" of the system, it is installed on the wall opposite the negative pressure fan. When negative pressure is formed indoors, fresh outdoor air is forcibly drawn through the wet curtain wall. During the vaporization process, water molecules on the water curtain absorb a large amount of latent heat from the air, causing a sudden drop in the temperature of the air entering the room. At the same time, it completes efficient filtration, continuously delivering cool, humid, and clean fresh air into the breeding farm.
3. Industrial grade large fan: As the "airflow dispatcher" of the system, cleverly arranged in various key positions of the breeding farm. They are responsible for directing the turbid and hot air from the far end towards the exhaust area where the negative pressure fan is located, ensuring that there are no ventilation blind spots in the entire space, and the airflow organization is more scientific and reasonable, accelerating the overall replacement efficiency of indoor air.
The scientificity of this combination scheme is rooted in the classic physical principles of "water evaporation absorbs heat" and "air convection". After the system is started, dynamic negative pressure is established indoors through a negative pressure fan to drive outdoor air through the water curtain wall in a predetermined path. When water flows through specially designed water curtain paper, a thin water film is formed, maximizing the contact area with air, thereby achieving efficient heat exchange and cooling process. No matter the outdoor temperature is above 40 ℃, this system can stably control the indoor temperature within the most suitable growth range for livestock and poultry, which is 26-30 ℃.
