Integrated deodorization fan - tailored for large-scale livestock farms across the country as a specialized deodorization and ventilation project for animal husbandry
In recent years, with the rapid development of China's animal husbandry industry towards intensification and scale, it plays a crucial role in ensuring the stability of the national "vegetable basket" project and meeting the growing demand for meat products among the people. However, the environmental challenges brought by large-scale aquaculture are becoming increasingly prominent. Our company (Ruifeng Environmental Protection Refrigeration) has successfully provided integrated deodorization fan special solutions for multiple large-scale breeding farms in China, relying on our profound accumulation in the field of ventilation and cooling engineering. While ensuring breeding efficiency, we have effectively resolved environmental problems.
These farms mainly focus on pig farming, and also cover various livestock such as cattle, sheep, chickens, and ducks. They are distributed throughout the country, with a large scale and spacious facilities. Faced with increasingly strict environmental regulations, the traditional ventilation method of deodorizing walls can discharge some ammonia gas (the main component of odor) and hot air, but due to its limited treatment efficiency, it still causes inconvenience to the living environment of surrounding residents and is difficult to meet the current environmental requirements. More importantly, the breeding environment directly affects the health status and slaughter rate of livestock. High temperature, high humidity, and high concentration of harmful gases (such as ammonia and hydrogen sulfide) not only reduce the appetite and immunity of livestock, but may also cause respiratory diseases, leading to slow growth and increased mortality rates. Therefore, under the dual pressure of environmental protection red lines and aquaculture benefits, modernizing and upgrading ventilation and cooling systems has become an inevitable choice for aquaculture enterprises to break through development bottlenecks.
In response to this series of complex requirements, the solution design team of Ruifeng Company conducted an in-depth analysis of the actual situation of each breeding farm: in terms of external environment, it is necessary to consider the distance between the breeding farm and surrounding residential areas, dominant wind direction, and local environmental emission standards; In terms of internal environment, it is necessary to accurately evaluate the ammonia concentration, dust volume, temperature and humidity changes, and livestock density in open or semi open buildings. Taking into account these key factors, we decisively abandoned the traditional approach of renovating the existing deodorizing wall and instead adopted a scientific layout design of an integrated deodorizing fan, and dismantled the original civil deodorization facilities.
The advantage of this layout is that it integrates the three functions of "ventilation, deodorization, and dust removal" into one, achieving a leap from "passive treatment" to "active purification". The working principle is that the permanent magnet negative pressure fan built into the equipment actively sucks in the turbid hot air filled with ammonia, dust, and high temperature inside the breeding farm. The air first passes through the European counter current spraying system and comes into full contact with the evenly sprayed deodorizing solution, undergoing a preliminary chemical washing reaction to remove most harmful substances such as ammonia. Subsequently, the airflow enters the S-wave cross deodorizing water curtain layer. The special corrugated structure of the water curtain greatly extends the contact time between the medicine and the air, forming an efficient medicine film. Through the core principle of "water cycle absorption+microbial metabolism degradation", the remaining harmful substances are deeply decomposed. Finally, the purified air is passed through a V-shaped dehazing and water collection system, which efficiently intercepts and recovers water mist particles in the air using its unique V-shaped structure. This not only saves valuable circulating deodorizing agents, but also ensures the cleanliness and dryness of the discharged air.
After the entire system is put into use, the effect is immediate. According to actual measurements, the ammonia removal rate is as high as 80% to 95%, and the dust removal rate has also reached 85% to 97%. The air environment in the breeding farm has been significantly improved, with a significant increase in freshness, providing a healthier space for pigs and other livestock to grow, effectively reducing the incidence of diseases, and ensuring their health and slaughter rate. It is worth mentioning that the treated exhaust gas is basically odorless, completely solving the problem of "odor disturbance" that has plagued breeding farms for many years.
