This project is located in the North China region of China, which has a temperate continental climate with distinct four seasons. The summer is hot and long-lasting, and there is a significant heat accumulation effect inside the factory building. The main body of the project is the core assembly workshop of a well-known domestic heavy engineering machinery manufacturing enterprise, which focuses on the production of large and medium-sized excavators, cranes, rollers and other core equipment related to the lifeline of national infrastructure construction. The heavy machinery manufacturing industry is known as the "mother of industry", and its level of development directly reflects the country's basic industrial strength. It plays an irreplaceable supporting role in major national economic and livelihood projects such as railways, highways, water conservancy, mining, and urban construction.

As the most critical link in the final assembly of products, this assembly workshop is a typical large-span steel structure shed style building with a total area of over 30000 square meters and a height of up to 20 meters. In summer, the workshop not only experiences strong external solar radiation, but also accumulates a large amount of heat generated by welding, large equipment operation, and intensive personnel operations, resulting in a hot and humid internal environment and poor air circulation. In response to the unique working conditions of this project's large area and ultra-high space, the technical team of Ruifeng Environmental Protection Refrigeration comprehensively evaluated multiple core elements during the scheme design phase. Firstly, the project is located in the north with dry and hot summers, so there is no need to consider the dehumidification needs in the high humidity environment of the south; Secondly, the internal structure of the steel structure factory with an area of over 30000 square meters is complex, making it impossible to install precise central temperature control equipment like in small spaces; More importantly, the assembly workshop mainly focuses on the assembly of large structural components, and most of the parts have been sealed before entering the assembly line, without precise requirements for the overall temperature and humidity of the workshop environment. Therefore, the core contradiction of improvement lies not in precise temperature control, but in how to form a continuous and gentle air flow in the personnel activity area in the most economical and efficient way to enhance surface heat dissipation and improve the overall comfort of the staff.

Based on this, the Ruifeng solution design team abandoned the traditional multi-point small fan solution and innovatively adopted a permanent magnet industrial large ceiling fan as the core solution. We scientifically calculated the single unit coverage area of the selected model of ceiling fan based on the factory layout (the maximum coverage area of a single unit is 2000 square meters), and optimized the quantity ratio and fixed-point layout.
