The cafeteria is located in an industrial park in Dongguan, Guangdong. Dongguan is located in the Pearl River Delta region and has a subtropical monsoon climate. It is warm and humid throughout the year, with high temperatures and heavy rainfall in summer. The average temperature ranges from 28 ℃ to 35 ℃, and the humidity often exceeds 80%. In winter, it is mild with little rainfall. Under such climatic conditions, the staff canteen, as the main dining venue for nearly 10000 workers in the park, not only needs to cope with the challenges of high temperature and humidity environment, but also needs to ensure the comfort of the dining environment to enhance the dining experience and work enthusiasm of employees. As a commercial canteen, its daily operation is directly related to the quality of life of park employees and the cohesion of the enterprise.
Project Challenge and Ruifeng Plan Design Considerations

1. Geographical and climatic factors: In Dongguan, summer is hot and humid. Although traditional air conditioning has good cooling effects, it consumes high energy and requires large initial investment. In addition, the cafeteria is a relatively open place where people frequently enter and exit during dining hours, making it difficult to close the entrance and exit, and the air conditioning is easily lost, resulting in a significant reduction in the effectiveness of traditional air conditioning.
